On the evening of October 14th, the Fall 2020 GISA General Assembly took place in Auditorium 2, and via Webinar.
At Places des Nations, in Geneva, protesters gathered to call out Bolsonaro’s environmental policies.
On the eve of the voting period, eleven candidates standing for various positions on the GISA Board gathered in Maison de la Paix for a debate, and a twelfth candidate joined the debate remotely.
On September 27th, Switzerland held a federal referendum to determine a number of political initiatives including paternity leave, changes to hunting laws and whether or not it should maintain its agreement with the EU to allow the free movement of people across borders.
