Spending the summer in Switzerland was very interesting. It was quite surreal to experience the beauty of Geneva without the craziness of the semester. The heat and humidity of the city created a very familiar environment and helped me miss home a little less. The holidays gave me plenty of time to indulge in my hobbies including travelling, and tasting the sheer brilliance of Swiss ice creams. What I enjoyed the most however was visiting quaint Swiss towns and sketching the monumental and scenic beauty that I witnessed. Further, the casual rainbows, and brilliant colours that the skies painted every evening demanded attention and gratitude even on a boring day.
